Description
Dear MIAS Members and Friends:
The College of Commercial Arbitrators, American Arbitration Association, and JAMS are presenting a seminar on “Managing Your First Arbitration” in Miami on April 28, 2011. The seminar is presently co-sponsored by the Miami International Arbitration Society, Florida Bar ADR Section, Broward County Bar Assn., and Florida International University College of Law.
This seminar has been put on at different locations around the country and is now coming to Miami. The seminar is a very good presentation for:
1) People desiring to become arbitrators
2) Arbitrators who wish to review the process
3) Lawyers who wish to know what to expect with cutting edge practices in an arbitration proceeding
4) Lawyers who need CLE credits at a reasonable cost and would like to learn more about arbitration
The seminar will have 7 Florida Bar CLE credit hours, including 1 credit hour in ethics. For AAA arbitrators attending the seminar meets the AAA ACE requirements for two years.
If you fall into one of the four categories above we would love to see you there. If you have friends or colleagues who could benefit by this training please forward this to those friends and colleagues. A full house is anticipated so early registration is encouraged.
Sincerely,
Larry R. Leiby, Esq.
